We loved the lodge and surrounds; the kids would have loved it (but we left them behind, so sad), maybe next time. Tanjil Bren is wonderfully quiet. We walked to the crystal pit and found a few partially formed quartz crystals. Advise taking a shovel or something; we found a broken camping spade and that sufficed. Beautiful walk up there though. The sausage dogs had a ball - had to carry the fat one for the last kilometre back! Will be back.
