Just a quick note to say thanks for a top stay at Moose head lodge. It was brilliant and all of us had a ball.
The dirt trails and bush were fantastic and we did plenty of good fishing.
The place was huge and gave us plenty of room to spread out all our things. Place looks fantastic. Well done. One of the better places we have stayed and great value.

I am writing to tell you what a wonderful time our family had recently at Moose Head Lodge.
We have stayed a numorous lodges in the past that promised much and delivered far less. I am delighted to say that Moose head lodge was even better than we expected. From the moment we stepped inside the ambience was like being in a Swiss chalet and made us feel not only at home but in a completely relaxed frame of mind. A lovely open fire and huge spacious lounge was just the tonic. The upstairs loft bedroom was loved by our son and give him his own private space. The scenery was heavenly and we had some our the nicest bush walks ever. We all slept beautifully at night and were excited to be visited by majestic Rossella’s in the morning. We will definitely be back again next year.

Moosehead lodge is in a great location at the bottom of Mt Baw Baw, surrounded by trees. It is nestled in nicely for privacy. The lodge is cosy and comfortable with all the necessary comforts. The outdoor facilities are excellent with regards BBQ, large entertaining table etc. An excellent weekend was had by our group of six, sitting in front of the fire playing scrabble and drinking wine. The fact the mountain was there was a bonus but Moosehead Lodge is a great place to stay even with out it. There are many walks available near the lodge. The interior of the house kept us entertained with conversation for quiet some time. I would highly recommend it. Jo Taylor

Thanks for the wonderful week-end we had at Moosehead Lodge. It was so cosy and warm in front of the fireplace on the beautiful leather couches. What a bonus watching the snow drifit past the windows and then to wake up to a blanket of white snow. It felt like we were in another world, not just 2 hours out of Melbourne.

Thanks for the lovely weekend, we had great fun with the rosellas. They are quite happy to land on your hand and eat birdseed straight from your palm! We'll send you photos when they get developed. Went for a VERY long walk on sunday and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
